Privacy notice
Last updated: October 2026
This notice explains how Hill Farm Equestrian (“we”, “us”) uses personal information collected through this website, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Hill Farm Equestrian, Burtle Road, Burtle, Somerset, TA7 8NB, is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about data protection at hillfarmequestrian@hotmail.co.uk.
What we collect and why
When you send us an enquiry using the form on our contact page, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), the type of enquiry and your message. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and, if you go on to use our services, to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement with you.
Our lawful bases are our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
If you contact us directly by phone or email, we use the details you give us in the same way.
How your enquiry is delivered
Our enquiry form is processed by Web3Forms, which forwards your message to our email inbox. Web3Forms acts as a data processor on our behalf; it states that it does not store the content of form submissions.
Our website is hosted by Vercel, which processes basic technical information (such as IP addresses in server logs) to deliver the website securely.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for up to 12 months, unless they lead to a livery or other agreement, in which case we keep them for as long as needed to provide our services and meet our legal obligations.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
The map on our contact page is provided by Google Maps and is only loaded if you choose to show it. Google may then set cookies and collect information in line with its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, and to ask us to correct, delete or restrict the use of it, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, contact us using the details above.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
